About Eric

Conscience Over Career

"Standing when it matters most often means standing when it costs you everything."

The Defining Moment

Eric Moutsos served as a Salt Lake City police officer until a conflict between policy and personal conviction forced a defining decision.

Faced with institutional pressure to comply with a mandate that violated his religious and constitutional beliefs, Eric chose conscience over career. The decision ended his time in law enforcement and brought national attention to his case.

That moment did not end his work — it clarified it.

Eric understands public authority structures from the inside. He has experienced firsthand the cultural pressures that test character, reputation, and family stability.

His authority is not theoretical. It is lived.

“My perspective comes from standing in the fire and choosing not to abandon the principles that matter most — faith, family, and constitutional duty.”
